Get TWICE the love today with their new album and music video

Here’s your Monday treat, ONCEs! TWICE spoiled us once again by dropping both their “Eyes Wide Open” comeback album and their “I can’t stop me” music video today. I’m still freaking out.

It’s been three long years since TWICE’s last full Korean album, “Twicetagram,” and so it came as no surprise that ONCEs all over the world freaked out over the release of their second full album, “Eyes Wide Open.” It contains 13 original tracks and dropped right in time for their 5th year anniversary since debuting as a group. My heart is soft, too.

And as if they couldn’t spoil us any more, they dropped their music video at the same time as their album. I didn’t know which one to listen to first, either. The “I can’t stop me” music video features the perfect mix of fairytale flower retro vibes and had colors bright enough to shine on my career.

The video constantly switched through the girls in long elegant dresses (sometimes inside a flower) to more modern numbers. My favorite so far was their checkered yellow outfit that reminded me of Cher’s iconic “Clueless” look.

And in true “TWICE” nature, they hit us again with their addicting dance moves that I found myself trying to replicate on just my second run-through of the video (you know, the shimmies).

The song itself surely does not disappoint. It’s a true bop and gets you moving out of your seat to dance along with them like they always do. It’s the perfect end to the long wait for our favorite girls and we’re just getting started. You know what I’ll be playing on repeat tonight.
