Birthday girl Chungha just made a huge donation to this children’s rights org

Good morning, Byulharangs! It looks like our girl Kim Chungha started off her birthday with a bang.

Today, the K-Pop soloist celebrates her 25th birthday as 2021’s first ChildFund Korea Green Noble Club member. ChildFund Korea is a child development organization providing financial, physical and emotional support for vulnerable children and restoring their rights both in South Korea and abroad. Its Green Noble Club is composed of individuals who’ve donated at least 100 million won (around four million pesos). Other celebrities who made it to ChildFund Korea’s Green Noble Club last year are TVXQ’s Changmin, BTS’ J-Hope and actress Kim Yoo Jung

“Chungha has become the 250th patron of the Green Noble Club,” the organization said. “We share our deep gratitude to the patron who, even when everyone is going through a difficult time due to COVID-19, shares love for vulnerable children.”

Our generous queen began her donations at 50 million won (around two million pesos) for sick children’s treatment fees in 2019, while continuing to donate masks and other supplies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 for children in low-income families for her birthday last year.

It looks like February will be a big month for the K-Pop star as she is also gearing up for the release of her first full-length album “Querencia” on Feb. 15. Are we ready for this, Byulharangs?
