Despite being known for gracing magazine covers naked and being lensed by the world’s leading photographers like Mario Testino, Inez & Vinoodh, and Ryan McGinley, this #throwback photo of Kate Moss might be her most unorthodox cover yet.
The supermodel is the star of the debut issue of L’Officiel España, who used Kate’s childhood yearbook photo, complete with a girlish smile and virgin red hair.
Carrying the cover line, “Kate the Great,” the issue features other Kates who have received various achievements in fashion, literature, and film. Profiles feature Pulitzer prize winner Katherine Anne Porter and French actress Catherine Denevue.
The issue is set to hit newsstands on Sept. 1.
