Queen Bey is back.
So pay your respects and listen to this teaser of her new single “Runnin’ (Lose It All), dropping this Friday. DJ Naughty Boy recently dropped a snippet of the song on Instagram yesterday, where we see two figures sinking deeper into the water and we hear Beyoncé singing these lines in the background: “Nothing else matters now, you and I are here/ so where are you?/ I’ve been calling you/ I’m missing you.”
The track is noticeably more sullen than her most recent hits like “7/11.” But hey, since her surprise album two years ago, expect Beyoncé to make anything at this point.
Rumors of her making new music have been going around since last month after speculations—a slip from a shoe brand owner—that Queen Bey started filming for a music video and bought a $200,000 pair of stilettos for it. Earlier this year, it has also been rumored that she’s working with husband Jay-Z for a collaboration album.
