Is Adele finally making good on dropping that new album soon? Two months ago, it was announced that her follow-up album to the Grammy award-winning 21 was set to drop this November.
And with the end of this month soon approaching, she’s been dropping mysterious hints, the first one being a 28-second clip that aired between ads for Domino’s Pizza and Tic-Tacs during the commercial break of The X Factor UK.
The lyrics go, “Hello/ It’s me/ I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet/ To go over/ Everything,” the voice sang. “They say that time’s supposed to heal ya/ but I ain’t done much healing.”
There is no word yet on whether this is an actual clip from a full-length song or if it’s just a teaser that Adele recorded to sate fans who’ve waited four years for a new album. Her camp has remained mum on the teaser, neither confirming nor denying if it really is Adele singing in the clip. Though with the distinctive timber of her voice, it’s pretty apparent.
However, one of her rumored collaborators for the new album, Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, couldn’t resist dropping a hint shortly after the clip’s airing:
Adele 🙂

With the dreary weather we’ve been having lately, we’d say we’re pretty long overdue for a new Adele track.
