Taking a little break from all the dating rumors, it seems that we can expect a new movie from John Lloyd Cruz this summer with his new leading lady, Jennylyn Mercado.
This was confirmed by Star Cinema’s advertising and promotions manager Mico Del Rosario who posted a photo of the duo on his Instagram account yesterday, Bandera reports.
This is the first time that John Lloyd and Jennylyn will be in a movie together. And we just have to say, she’s definitely snagging all the top leading men in the industry recently, from Derek Ramsay to Jericho Rosales, and now, our favorite abs-less beau. You go, girl!
While the movie’s title and plotline are still under wraps, Bandera also reports that it will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, and we hope that both actors will handle her sharp tongue if ever they make a mistake.
But hey, Jen is a two-time award-winning actress after all, and John Lloyd also recently starred in a controversial film and has an upcoming movie that’ll be featured at the Berlinale 2016. We’re sure they’ll pull this off effortlessly.
