If the sudden light rainshowers are any indication, it seems that our summer days are now numbered. If you haven’t booked a vacation yet because of busy work commitments, now’s the time before typhoon season comes in full swing.
Also given your busy schedule, you probably haven’t shopped for your trip to, let’s say, London or Rome. But how exactly are you supposed to dress stylishly and practically while roaming those foreign streets as a tourist, most especially in countries that would have different climates than ours? Because hey, we all want to look good while strolling around. So here’s a short list of pieces that you can easily pull out of your closet to your luggage.
#1 A sleeveless top
This is a default must-have for whenever you’re traveling to a sunny city like Hong Kong, Bali, or Singapore. You can be as casual as you want or you can also play with frills. Plus, it’s easy to stuff in your luggage, and you can match them with any jacket or cardigan when it gets windy.
#2 A good pair of pants

When going sightseeing all day on the streets of Europe, wearing skinny jeans might not be the best option because it’ll restrict your movements. Opt for a pair of lightweight pants in a neutral color so you can partner it with any top that you have.
#3 Sturdy walking shoes
Whether they’re sandals or sneakers, your shoes should survive a whole day of walking around, be it on the sandy beaches of California or the paved streets of Las Vegas. This also ensures that you won’t end the day with painful blisters on your feet.
#4 A cozy jacket

Just like here in Manila, you’ll never know what the weather abroad will be like in different times of the day. Which is why it’s a must to pack a jacket or two to save you from the cool breeze or sudden rainfall that may happen while you’re there.
#5 Day-to-night skirt
Aside from your pants, you can also opt for comfortable skirts when exploring the city. Plus points too if it is a versatile skirt that can take you from a morning stroll to an elegant dinner in Rome. Yup, no need to keep going back to your hotel room to change into something nice in the evening!
#6 Handy sling bag

It doesn’t hurt to bring your essentials wherever you go, so you better have a non-bulky bag to hold all of them.
