Better make some room in your next phone for this news. The Unicode Consortium—aka the people who make emojis—just announced that they will be releasing 72 brand new emojis this month.
Yup, that many. And it includes a facepalm, shrug, strips of bacon, and an avocado, among many other dishes and expressions.
Although Unicode said that these emojis aren’t final yet and that they may remove some, we’re excited to use them in our daily text convos. Who wouldn’t want to send numerous ROFL emojis to their friends for maximum virtual laughs?
