Rapper and record producer A$AP Rocky is known to be one of the most fashionable men in hip-hop, so landing gigs in the fashion industry like his recent collaboration with J.W. Anderson comes as no surprise. But now he assumes a more polished and couture look by being one of the four new dapper faces of Dior Homme.
Dior’s campaign also features filmmaker Larry Clark, French actor Rod Paradot, and model Dylan Roque. When asked why creative director Kris Van Asshe selected the new faces, he said that “[these are] talents that inspire me. They come from different universes and different countries.”
Though some still find the brand to be too polished for A$AP Rocky, Dior thinks otherwise, and points out that the rapper “embodies the empowered masculinity of today’s urban dandy.”
Well, don’t you just love surprises from these brands? We sure do.
