Last night, social media went abuzz when Victoria Beckham shared a video from The Global Goals recreating their famous “Wannabe” music video. Not only was it for the Spice Girls’ 20th anniversary, but also to promote girls and women’s rights.
According to The Global Goals’ website, this is their way of voicing out the needs of girls and women all over the world from gender equality to ending child marriage. “2016 is our chance to use our collective power and tell world leaders what we really really want for girls and women. If you make the noise, we’ll get your message to world leaders at the UN in September,” they write.
With this, they’ve also started the hashtag “#WhatIReallyReallyWant” where celebs and organizations tweeted out their support.

It’s so refreshing seeing people unite with one cause in mind. We’d also like to applaud The Global Goals for making a fun and creative video to promote their advocacy.
