‘Hands’ was released on iTunes last night, and proceeds will be distributed to provide medical aid and counseling to the families, as well as educational tools.
According to co-writer and producer Justin Tranter, the song came together even though some artists were in different locations at the time.
“We assigned everybody what we thought would be the best part for their voice, and we asked them all to sing an additional part, just in case. But everybody got it done in time so we ended up with extra vocals,” Justin tells Billboard.

Last month, 50 were killed and 53 injured during a shooting at a gay club in Orlando, Florida. It was so devastating that it was dubbed the “worst in US history.”
