It’s been two days since President Rodrigo Duterte’s first State of the Nation Address, but netizens are still talking about Brillante Mendoza’s directing during the ceremony.
According to Bandera, fellow director Perci Intalan praised Brillante’s work, saying, “He was as asked to do something different. He did it differently. Whatever our opinion of how it turned out, he did what he was asked to do and he made you feel that change is here.”
Some netizens also shared their praises on social media.
