Even the biggest scrooge can’t say no to some Christmas music. The ones blaring while you’re in the mall may be old and overused but are still good. You can’t tell me you haven’t sang along to some Jose Mari Chan. Still, the holidays bring an awesome range of tunes to make our days a little merrier. From love anthems to songs of longing, to tributes to the cold weather, Christmas brings a well of emotions.
They also bring a ton of movies revolving around the concept of love and giving. So for our Preen Christmas playlist, we took a few songs from the season’s favorite movies. From the sweet “Please Come Home for Christmas” from the Home Alone soundtrack to the LSS-inducing “Let It Go” from Frozen for all you ice queens reveling in the cold weather, this playlist will remind you of different ways to celebrate the season.
We also threw in a few classics from “White Christmas” and some Michael Bublé along with a lovely orchestra performance of “Making Christmas” from soundtrack of The Nightmare Before Christmas. Play this one at your next dinner party when everyone gets tired to singing along to your Mariah Carey Christmas album. (We know you always play that.)
