Shine & Sparkle Like Liz Uy and Anne Curtis

Earlier this spring, the metallic trend caught on with brands like 3.1 Philip Lim and Marc Jacobs to add a twist to the usual pastel pallete. Even Gucci updated their pumps with a gold finish.

Nowadays, the trend is still going strong as Rachel Zoe and upcoming brand Baja East introduced it for their fall/winter collections. You can also spot this on the slip-on dresses and boots at Tibi.

This trend is perhaps one that easily translates with us despite the climate difference. With the holidays coming up, a few shiny and sparkly pieces have already popped up on our feeds. We now have an idea on how to do it when it’s our turn for the season’s upcoming parties and dinners. You’ll see in this list how you can interpret it to your own liking or even with pieces you already have in your closet.

A red lip and black dress look is fitting for sparkling shoulder-grazing earrings for that classic look.

You can bring the festive feel even to the bedroom with a PJs just like Isabelle’s.

With an all-black ensemble, Janeena’s cute sequined backpack stood out even more.

Sticking to the same color family, Nicole’s gold shoes went well with her brown jumpsuit.

For an head turner look, pair your appliquéd jacket with a shiny pleated skirt. Ready for the street style shot or even just for that big family reunion.
