When I’m on my way home from work, stuck in traffic I scroll through online stores looking for clothes to spend my payday cash on. More often than not, I gravitate towards shops that sell swimsuits. Maybe because I am constantly fantasizing about my next trip to the beach or a music festival I’ll be attending. It doesn’t help that there are so many styles to choose from. Bikinis, one-piece swimsuits with cut outs, crochet sets, cheeky bottom options, and the list goes on.
Recently, there is one style that has caught my eye: velvet swimsuits. Yes, the velvet trend has carried over to the summer staple. I find these suits quite versatile as you can dress them up for a night out or a beach party. They also have that added bonus of making your photos Instagram-worthy as it gives off an iridescent glow when the sun hits the fabric just right.
