Over the weekend, Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender got married in a private ceremony in Ibiza, staying true to how they have kept their relationship under wraps. So don’t worry if you feel a little out of the loop.
To get you up to speed, the couple apparently met in 2014 and found love while taping the movie The Light Between Oceans, where they played husband and wife. Talk about foreshadowing. Since then, they are hardly public about the relationship, save for a few paparazzi photos. In photos seen on The Daily Mail, the two together with some friends and family, were spotted in the Spanish destination. Though representatives from either parties have not yet confirmed the news, the photos one could see how both Alicia and Michael are wearing matching rings.
We’re sure going to be on the lookout for confirmation of this happy news. Good luck to us however as the two have been very good at keeping it away from the press. In a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, Alicia made a passing comment about the relationship. “And I think we’ve made a clear statement that we keep certain things just between us. It was very easy to unite, but that’s quite personal.”
