Denim is a classic fabric and I’m sure you ladies have lots of these staples in your wardrobe already. Like jeans, jackets, and shorts. However, because this fabric has been around for so long, fashion brands have found ways to upgrade the usual garb. For example, jeans are given different cuts while shorts and jackets are embellished in various ways. Blue isn’t always the color it comes in too. You can now find denim in every color of the rainbow. If you’re not sure how to style these new pieces, let’s take some inspiration from some celebrities.
Flared Jeans
A pair of jeans is a staple for everyone’s wardrobe. Depending on where you’re headed you can dress it up on down. Instead of wearing skinny or boyfriend fit denim, test out a pair of flared bottoms like Nadine Lustre. To make sure your outfit looks sleek, pair these with some heeled shoes.

Denim Skirt
On casual days, go for a denim on denim look like Sofia Andres. To go with your favorite denim jacket, pick up a denim skirt. This has a light wash and distressed hem, and belt loops. One way to accessorize this outfit is with a statement belt.

White Dungarees
Rock denim in a different color like crisp white. Andrea Brillantes chose to wear white dungarees over a pink shirt when she visited The Dessert Museum. Cop a similar piece from Citizens of Humanity. It has a distressed hem, silver hardware, and comes in a relaxed fit.

Oversized Denim Jacket
Denim jackets are everywhere and they come in so many different colors and styles. For something new, cop an oversized piece in a black acid wash finish. Yassi Pressman was spotted wearing one and she styled it over a pink see-through top. You can also customize yours with studs, pins, and patches.

Lace Up Shorts
You probably have several pairs of denim shorts in your closet but here’s another option if you want to switch up your style. Like Maine Mendoza, cop a pair with lace-up details on the side. What looks like a regular pair of shirts actually has some added embellishments on the side along with some distressed rips.
