The paparazzi drama surrounding Ellen Adarna continues as the mother of Eleila Santos writes a public letter to the actress. Last night, Myra Santos posted a letter reaching out to her. She started off by saying, “how deeply hurt we are by the unneeded stress and unwanted attention you caused after you uploaded a photo and video of her on Instagram, without any consent from us.”
She also pointed out that Eleila is only 17 years old and is still a minor. Myra went on to say that Eleila and her aunt tried to resolve the issue with Ellen privately. “My daughter, even though was not in the wrong, immediately reached out to you via an IG [message] about the misunderstanding.”
Because this whole “paparazzi” situation has blown up, their family is taking legal action. “My family and I have begun seeking legal assistance. As advised by our lawyer, we are now writing you this letter. As her family, we ask you to publicly apologize to Eleila.” Myra went on to defend her daughter, “As much as no one has the right to breach your privacy, you have no right to ruin my daughter’s reputation.”
As of writing, Ellen has not responded to the post but Myra ended the letter by saying, “My lawyer indicates that you will have five days to reply to this letter.” If she refuses to, their family will move forward and take any legal action necessary to protect Eleila.
Watch this space as we wait for more updates on this issue.
