Heart Evangelista promised to be as open as she can during the duration of her pregnancy, even if she couldn’t really find the words to express herself. Last month just a few days after announcing her pregnancy, she shared that she was supposed to have a twin pregnancy, but the other embryo was not developing as fast. She expressed her heartbreak and learnings as a first-time mom.
Just last night, she shared another heartbreaking news—she lost her other baby. She shared that they went for an ultrasound for the week and they lost the baby’s heartbeat. Her doctor assured her that there is nothing that they can do and that it happens to a high percentage of first-time mothers.
Even amidst the heartbreak, Heart was still hopeful and incredibly strong. She talked about how her pregnancy has changed her life and outlook. She learned about unconditional love and even if she was excited to meet her little one, she still trusts God and His timing and plans for her life.
She’s not here to question, but she said she’s just looking and praying for peace. Heart also revealed the name she gave her baby and it’s Mira. “I already loved your smile. I know you’ll find your way back to me.”
