Spotted: Real crazy rich Asians at NYFW SS19

Admit it, the fashion in the prestigious NYFW isn’t the only thing you follow. The show’s appeal also comes from it being one of the biggest gathering for fashion elites. At this event, the icons and celebrities are at their element. We’ve always heard of models, designers, and Hollywood celebrities present at the show, but ever since the film Crazy Rich Asians, our eyes were opened to how much these types of events are actually a big part of their lifestyle too. We know our own crazy rich Asian, Heart Evangelista is at NYFW. The others featured in the publication Harper’s Bazaar alongside her, Feiping Chang, and the sisters Rachelle and Michelle Yeoh unfortunately didn’t make it as they had other commitments, but we spotted other real crazy rich Asians in the fashion show, too. Read on to see what they were up to.

Heart Evangelista

Our very own crazy rich Asian is a patron of fashion shows. In the Harper’s Bazaar feature, we spotted her wearing an Armani Privé cape. This time around, she wowed us with a Mark Bumgarner gown which earned her a spot at Elle’s best dressed list. While there, she also had the time dining, and more recently, she teased her own fashion design.

Dorothy Wang

The daughter of Chinese tycoon Roger Wang, head of the Golden Eagle International, a real estate firm. You can catch her live out the crazy rich Asian lifestyle in the E! series #RichKids of Beverly Hills. It looks like she’s enjoying NYFW’s after-parties.

Ezra J. Williams

Ezra is an Indonesian socialite based in New York, and is acquainted with the likes of Tiffany Trump and the Hilton sisters. A regular at fashion shows, he owns several rare and off-the-runway fashion pieces. During NYFW, he partied it up, as he also celebrated his birthday. We spotted Dorothy Wang in the crazy festivities too.

Happy birthday to my extra sparkly sister @ezrajwilliam! So grateful to have you in my life and to be able to celebrate with you this week! I’m so proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what wonderful things this year will bring, as you keep shining like you always do ?‍♀️❤️✨

Henry Wang

Okay, so technically, he’s not part of the exclusive world of the real crazy rich Asians, but he deserves the special mention because he did play the part of one in the recent blockbuster film. I’m sure you’ve heard of it. At the NYFW, he sat front row, beside none other than Anna Wintour during the Tom Ford SS19 show.
