Just like in fashion, shades of nude are different in beauty products. Depending on your skin tone, nude lipsticks come in different colors, there is no such thing as a universal nude shade. Now, there are so many skin tones but we can loosely categorize them into different categories like light, medium, dark, and deep dark. Of course, you each have different undertones, but there are lipstick shades that could look natural on you if we follow these divisions. From light to deep dark, let’s see some possible nude lipstick shades you could try.
Light

If you have fair or light skin, a nude shade for you would actually be more on the pink side. A light pink shade that matches your lips almost perfectly. I have light skin and the nude lipstick I’ve been using it this one from Max Factor. It has a sheer to buildable coverage that also moisturizes the lips. It’s an easy everyday shade when you feel like looking more natural.
Medium

For those who have medium skin tones, you can pick between a beige shade or a lipstick that is a mix of pink and brown, whichever complements your undertones. A pinkish brown color you can try out is Tom Ford’s Indian Rose. It has a creamy texture, making application smooth and easy.
Dark

Moving on to darker skin tones, deep brown lipsticks are the ones for you. After watching a few beauty YouTubers with darker complexions, they recommend lining the lips first with a darker color than the lipstick to make it look more natural. After you’ve done that, go in with Covergirl’s matte lip color in Caramel Curtsy. You can also swipe on a clear gloss on top if you’re not a fan of matte.
Deep Dark

Ladies with deeper complexions, go for chocolate brown lipstick shades. One perfect option is one of Fenty Beauty’s newest Stunna Lip colors, Unveil. It looks more like a light beige in the packaging but it is darker than that. On Instagram you will see model Duckie Thot wearing it and it is a perfect match for her skin tone.
