Here’s your next water bottle—this isn’t plastic or stainless steel

Each person has their own set of essentials that they take with them everywhere. Check your own list and see if a water bottle is part of it. If it isn’t, you should seriously consider adding it. It’s important to stay hydrated throughout the day and to help the environment by lessening your consumption of bottled water. Before you head out and get one, we suggest purchasing one made of glass. The most common ones you will usually see are made of heavy duty plastic but it’s time to make the switch. Unlike plastic, the glass won’t add any chemicals to your filtered water. Aside from this, they are also easier to clean and won’t leave your water tasting anything less than crisp and refreshing. Have I convinced yet? If so, here are some options you can look at.

BKR Spiked Swiss Bank 1L

I recently started using a BKR water bottle and I love it. It comes with different silicone sleeves that you can keep on when washing or easily remove. Oh, and it keeps the glass safe too. Pick a design that matches your personality like spikes or pastel colors. If 1L seems too big, pick up the 500 or 250 ml ones. Available at Rustan’s Makati.

Soma Glass Water Bottle

Water bottles can be sleek too, like this one from Soma. The shatter-proof glass is given even more protection with a silicone sleeve. The cap is made or natural bamboo that is leak-proof. Aside from keeping you hydrated, a donation made to a charity that supports safe drinking water for every purchase. Available online.

Miniso Glass Bottle

For an option that you can keep in your bag or even one for your kid, pick up this one from Miniso. These come in different colors as well as shapes. There even some special character ones that you can get too like We Bare Bears. Available at Glorietta 2.

Contigo Purity Glass Water bottle

If you’re on-the-go, to the gym for example, cop this bottle. This has exposed glass and silicone sleeve that protects the edges. It also has a stainless steel carry loop and leak-proof lid. Available online.

Petolar Tea Infuser Glass Bottle

Tea-lovers can enjoy glass bottles too. This tumbler comes with a built-in infuser made of stainless steel. It has double wall insulation, meaning your tea will stay nice and hot for one hour and warm for two. Just add hot water, loose leaf tea, and wait for it to steep while you’re on your way to work. Available online.
