Last September, Kris Aquino disclosed that a certain “financial abuse” affected her health. She had to take a step back on social media and focused on her health and dealing with this issue—with the help of her lawyers, of course.
Fast forward to today and CNN Philippines reported that Kris already filed 44 counts of qualified theft and violation of the Access Devices Regulation Act against her former business partner Nicardo M. Falcis II, he managed Kristina Conjuangco Aquino Productions (KCAP) and Nacho Bimby.
“The separate complaints for the same offenses were filed before the Office of the City Prosecutors in Mandaluyong, Pasig, Makati, Quezon City, and Manila,” reports Inquirer.
Kris accused Nicardo or “Nicko” of using the KCAP card for P1.27 million worth of personal expenses without her consent—these include multiple cups of coffee and almost a P100,000 spending on cosmetics. The credit card which had a P2 million limit was supposed to be for KCAP’s business expenses.

Nicko tried to return the money to Kris by sending a check of P437,595.67, but that doesn’t change the fact that her trust was breached and that the payback lacked P833,384.64.

Despite her condition, she will be in Mandaluyong Prsoecutors’ Office today at 2 p.m. because “justice delayed is justice denied,” she says.
We will keep you posted as this develops.
