Kris Aquino should be named “queen of social media burns” now especially after her lengthy reply to ex-husband James Yap’s post. The PBA player greeted his son Bimby, who just turned 11, and said, “Alam ko na ang tagal na natin di nakapagspend ng time together, at di nagkikita (I know it’s been a long time since we spent time together, and we don’t see each other), but I want you to know that I’m always here for you.”
But Kris wasn’t having it and made it crystal clear that James wasn’t making an effort to visit Bimby, nor pay the rest of his half of the financial support. “So bakit nga ba hindi kayo nagkikita? Ganito ka simple—wala ka nang pakinabang kay Bimb. Wala na kasi kaming ‘power’ so bakit ka pa didikit?” (So, why aren’t you two seeing each other? It’s simple—you don’t benefit from Bimb anymore. We don’t have ‘power’ anymore so why would you stick around?)
She also referenced to several statements that James has made about not seeing their son for a long time. This includes an interview where he claimed that Kris isn’t allowing him to spend time with Bimby. Kris also addressed the issue that James lost interest in reaching out, or in his words, “Mahirap naman pilitin yung sarili mo na ayaw naman sa’yo.” (It’s hard to insist on something when they refuse to do it.) He even added, “magsasawa ka rin eh.” (You’ll get tired as well.)
“You are missing out on experiencing what a caring, generous, polite & lovable boy Bimb is—and it is your LOSS,” she writes. And in true Kris Aquino fashion, she even squeezed an endorsement spiel in her angry post. ” I am ready to be bashed for washing our dirty laundry (of course [with] Ariel Antibac [with] the power of Safeguard) on IG, BUT this mother has had it [with] half truths [and] hypocrisy [and] she needed to make a stand for truth.”
You go, Kris! Don’t be afraid to stand your ground for yourself and your children!
