If you’re one of the people who’ve been binge-watching Arci Muñoz’s vlogs, here’s some good news for you. The singer-actress has a film coming up as part of Dreamscape Digital’s lineup on streaming service iWant.
According to a press release, the film is titled Jhon en Martian, a play on the ’70s sitcom John en Marsha. But instead of a family-driven plot, this one is said to be “an intergalactic love story between a human and an alien.”
Pepe Herrera and Rufa Mae Quinto will star alongside Arci. The film is also directed by Victor Villanueva, known for Patay na si Hesus.
In a Bandila interview last August, Arci shared that she’s playing the alien 223. “Magkakaron na dapat siya ng martian wedding pero hindi niya gusto yung mapapangasawa niya sa Pluto.” (She was supposed to have a martian wedding but she doesn’t like her husband-to-be on Pluto.) So it’s technically cosmic Runaway Bride.
Jhon en Martian doesn’t have a premiere date yet. For now, we suggest you watch (or re-watch) Glorious on iWant while waiting.
