Don’t forget these last-minute Christmas preparations

With three days before Christmas, many of us scrambling to get everything done. Whether it be last-minute gift shopping or stocking up on food, there is much to do but you can’t let it get to you. If you start to stress out, you’re sure to forget something. So, before you have a mini meltdown, make sure you do all of these things to prepare for the big day.

Plan your outfit

With just a few days away, don’t forget to plan your outfit already. Not sure yet? Here are some suggestions, maybe something red or a loose-fitting dress. It’s also safe to plan a backup outfit just in case you spill some food on yourself. Don’t worry, I’m clumsy too so this is bound to happen.

Double check gift list

You can never be too careful, so make sure to double or even triple check that you have all the gifts you need. I’m sure some shops are still open today so you can pick up something last-minute. You can even check out these stores if you’re on a budget.

Unplug

Enjoy the holidays to the fullest and try to unplug from work and other things that could possibly stress you out. Turn off your notifications and try not to check your emails. This is also a good thing for your officemates who want to relax during the holidays too.

Send out reminders

If you’re hosting a party for Christmas, don’t forget to send your guests reminders. Here, include important details along with other notes like food assignments or dress code theme if any. Trust me, they will forget something so best to prompt them before the big day.

Delegate

You can try but you can’t do everything by yourself. The best solution is to delegate some tasks to your friends and family. That way, you don’t miss anything or try to spread yourself too thin.
