Kylie Jenner was 20 years old (wow, like that’s so long ago) when Forbes talked about her $900 million business. Fast forward to today and merely seven months after, she is now the youngest EVER self-made billionaire.
Her latest Forbes feature talks about how her business grew in the months that transpired. First up was the availability of her cosmetics line on Ulta in 50 states. This allowed her brand to reach a younger and wider market—the ones who wouldn’t usually buy things online and the ones without access to their own credit cards. This move helped Kylie Cosmetics’ revenue climb up 9 percent. That’s roughly $360 million. Wow!
“I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future,” says Kylie on her Forbes feature. “But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.”
Congratulations, Kylie! You work hard, now you’re reaping the benefits.
