You might have seen news that Daniel Radcliffe is in Boracay. But before you hunt for him at the beach, sit and calm down because the rumor might be false.
It all started when Instagram user @daniel9340, a fanpage dedicated to the actor, posted a photo of Daniel jogging at a beach. Excited fans automatically assumed he’s in Boracay probably because of the white sand.
Facebook page Royal Academy of Hogwarts PH also posted about the alleged spotting, saying that hotel staff weren’t allowed to take photos of him “for the sake of privacy.”
Filipino fans are also tweeting about it and are probably ready to meet up with Daniel if the rumors were true.
However, some were skeptical about the photo and the page that shared it. We did some digging on our own and found that Daniel’s jogging pic was taken around a year ago, or more. It appeared in Marie Claire Russia and an Ask.fm fan account from 2018.
We don’t know if Daniel is in the country or not, so you better hold off on booking that plane ticket to Boracay for now.
