We won’t be surprised if news of Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney’s wedding will appear in the next few months.
Three months after Jennifer debuted her giant rock, the famously low-key couple formally celebrated their forthcoming union with an engagement party in New York.
Through an Instagram post, JLaw’s makeup artist, Fulvia Farolfi, shared they “toasted Jen and her groom to be” over the weekend. Adding, “We couldn’t be happier and more excited for #jenniferlawrence to become a #MRS.”
In the photo, the actress was all smiles in her Juliana wedding dress from NYC-based brand L. WELLS, as Harper’s Bazaar noted. “Designer Lauren Wells previously worked for Vera Wang, before creating her own bridal label. And this isn’t the first time that Lawrence has worn L. WELLS,” the magazine wrote. “The actress donned a wedding gown by the brand when she attended a movie premiere in November 2017.”
Meanwhile, People reported that “the pair checked out two New York City luxury hotels in early April.” A source added, “I would be surprised if the wedding were not a fairly extensive family affair.”
