These ladies found new BFFs at our throwback movie night

BFFs Diane Bernando and Ann Salcedo got matching friendship bracelets

After a busy work week, it’s like a dream to just drop everything and relax with a bunch of pillows while watching your favorite movies. Of course, there should also be snacks at reach. But you know what would make this R&R even better? Having your friends over so you can laugh and cry together—even discuss the film once it’s done.

This is exactly what happened when Preen.ph, in partnership with Bumble BFF, hosted a Throwback Movie Night on International Best Friends’ Day (June 8). The Bellas Artes Outpost Library was transformed into a cozy area where guests could lounge, eat popcorn and drink cherry cola cocktails, and also take photos dressed as their favorite era.

#TeamPreenPH—Tisha Ramirez, Jackie Arias, Bea Del Rio, and Tricia Guevara—took the theme v seriously.

Aside from that, guests were invited to bead their own friendship bracelets and decorate Poison doughnuts. Here, you can see many of them converse with the people next to them and making new friends in the process.

It’s kinda like when you use Bumble BFF, which is the friend-finding mode of Bumble, alongside Bumble Date and Bizz. This mode helps people connect with potential friends anywhere they go. It’s especially handy when you go to an event or when you’re looking for someone to tour you in an unfamiliar city—a great to expand your network and create multiple connections with people everywhere.

After spending time on the DIY tables, guests were gathered in the movie area to watch The Devil Wears Prada with their current and new BFFs. The best part is seeing them laugh at Miranda Priestly’s catchphrases and root for (eventual) BFFs Andy and Emily.

The night ended with guests leaving with stacks of beaded bracelets, bags of popcorn, and new BFFs to hang out with. How’s that for a fun and relaxing Saturday night?

If you want to see a little bit of what happened at Preen.ph x Bumble BFF Throwback Movie Night, here’s a little game we played with real-life friends:
