These queens are the fashion monarchs of ‘Drag Race’. Or maybe of the human race

Do you have what it takes to call yourself a queen? Well, these ladies do.

Drag is a way of life. It is art, expression, and passion. You know what else it is? Epic fashion.

It all ranges from head to toe. From big bold hairdos to thick lashes, overlined lips, extravagant bodysuits, and 8-inch heels, drag queens know their stuff. And when I say stuff I mean everything. Which is what makes RuPaul’s Drag Race such a big international hit.

Ever since premiering in 2009 as a replacement of Rick and Steve, Drag Race has been taking over everything: TV, social media, the beauty community, and most importantly the fashion industry. Drag isn’t just about the face, the makeup, and the hair. The slang term ‘drag’ actually refers to the wearing of clothing of the opposite sex, or in other terms: cross-dressing.

For years, Drag Race has been serving looks that even the fashion industry cannot keep up with. These queens come up with their own styles, make their own clothes, and dress themselves up from head to toe, the whole shabang, all by themselves.

Just finishing their 11th season last May, we have witnessed the most iconic and groundbreaking fashion pieces that the world has ever seen. And we’ve just ranked our top seven favorite fashion queens from across eleven seasons.

7.  Aja, All Stars 3

Aja is one of the most versatile queens when it comes to style and fashion. Most of her All Star’s season focused on a more positive narrative to her looks, but we also saw a lot of versatility when she opted for more daring, dark, and edgy pieces—especially for the season finale. She wears her colors very well and knows how to play with her palettes.

6.  Acid Betty, Season 8

Like a Phoenix she rises again and again and again! Condragulations to @oddlyyvie who obvi stole the show! 10 faces and all or something in that finale 🤯. 🤗✨🦄 I remember the entire experience like it was yesterday. Savor every minute and night of no sleep. Go out with the girls if another girl is performing and eat it all up!!! 🔥 and to every person who acts like they know you personally; do what @jujubeeonline told me & respond, “so great to see you (again)”. Cause it is 🥰🔥🥰🔥🥰🔥

Acid Betty isn’t our favorite in terms of her acidic attitude, but one cannot deny that she serves some damn good looks. Her works were wearable art pieces that were exquisite and unique, definitely always aiming to make a statement and to turn heads in her direction.

5.  Sasha Velour, Season 9

Sasha always screams DRAMA at the top of her lungs, and we are never disappointed. Her pleasantly gaudy choices are real showstoppers and seem almost always alluring and magical. Old-school classics love stunning on h

4. Naomi Smalls, Season 8

Naomi Smalls brings the 90s super-model chic to a whole new level. She loves her glitter, she loves her faux fur, and she rocks them like no one else can. Her babydoll style is stunning on her and she wears her silks like a queen.

3. Violet Chachki, Season 7

A certified fashion queen, Violet Chachki always serves us sexy. She loves her body-hugging, waist clinching couture and is a beautiful sartorial blend of seductive, edgy, and classy.

2. Valentina, Season 9

Definitely a fan favorite, Valentina is a goddess incarnate. Her elegance in fashion is impeccable, her fashion style always leaning towards old-school classic and luxurious glam.

1. Aquaria, Season 10

Let’s all just take a moment to bow down to this queen. Aquaria, being the youngest contestant, was season 10’s grand winner. Her style is very bold and animated, and very much the definition of fashion royalty with her ostentatious choices and sophisticated flair.

There is no doubt that nothing can top these queens in terms of serving the best looks anytime soon.
