Sophie Turner and Jonathan Van Ness’ first meeting is the purest thing we’ve ever seen

The internet needed its healthy dose of wholesome, and Sophie Turner and Jonathan Van Ness delivered BIG TIME.

Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner attended the MTV Video Music Awards on Monday, and squealed with delight as she spotted Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness back stage.

It was the most adorable first meeting we have ever seen as both stars started going into hysterics at the sight of each other.

“Jonathan Van Ness!” Sophie exclaimed with happiness as she walked over to Jonathan, who simply could not believe his eyes at the sight of Sansa Stark herself. Even turning the other direction in shock chanting “Oh my god” over and over again.

“I love you so much, oh my god,” he replied, giving Turner a giant hug. “So happy for your [Game of Thrones] ending. Oh my god, I was so relieved. I was so happy.”

“I love you!” he continued, going in for a second hug. “I’m obsessed. Congratulations on your gorgeous summer. I think you’re incredible,” he said, referring to Sophie’s recent wedding with Joe Jonas, whom Sophie also introduced!

“You have to meet Joe! You haven’t met Joe yet,” she said, and Joe came in stealing a hug from Jonathan as well.

Queer Eye fans will know that Jonathan is obsessed with Game of Thrones, and even has a YouTube commentary series called Gay of ThronesThis was a total fangirl moment for him and Sophie, who seems to be a big Queer Eye fan herself.

Fans of both shows are surely ecstatic with this extremely pure interaction between Sophie and Jonathan!
