Vlogger family Kryz Uy and Slater Young have just announced their second pregnancy. Uy broke the happy news on YouTube with a video entitled “I’ve been keeping this a secret…”
The video chronicles her reacting to her pregnancy test result on Oct. 4, and surprising Young and their son—plus their yaya!—with the news later that day. The surprise involved her taking a Polaroid picture and sending a note to her husband and son. It’s all v cute.
In the video, Uy shared her concerns over having another a COVID-19 baby. (ICYDK, their first son Scott Knoa was born in June last year.)
“It’s still [a] pandemic. I’ll have two kids during a pandemic so I can’t really tell the difference, like how easy it would have been otherwise, but this is a completely different reaction to my first pregnancy discovery,” Uy said.
She mentioned as well her surprise over the pregnancy. “I’m shook because Slater and I, we are not planning to have a second kid. I’m laughing because Slater and I had a conversation earlier today and I said, ‘I think I am not pregnant because I’m getting all of these period cramps and period pains.’ I can’t believe it.” (Later on in the video, she jokes that she’s “super fertile” because they weren’t even trying to conceive.)
The couple also took the time to reflect over their growing family. “We’re like legit parents now,” Young said. “We’re a family,” added Uy.
