Instagram is the place where we share almost every part of lives from the food we eat to the makeup we use. From time to time we also share OOTDs and selfies, following an aesthetic we want to deliver. Another type of post that has become popular are shoefies, photos of the shoes you’re wearing against a nice background such as colorful tiles. Tickled pink
Maxene used the reflection of a rainbow to her advantage by having it as her background. To go with her blue jeans she wore pale pink boots with a brown sole and pink laces.
Black and white brogues
On a rainy day, Maxene decided to wear a pair of black and white brogues and took a shoefie with fiancé Robby Mananquil. The shoes had lace-like details and white stitching along the sole. For the background she chose the contrast between pavement and grass.
Designer details
This list wouldn’t be complete if it didn’t include Maxene’s choice of designer footwear. In this case she wore a pair of Gucci Princetown leather slippers on her flight home from London. The shoes have a gold Horsebit detail along with embroidered flower appliqués.
Walking down Abbey Road
While walking down Abbey Road in London, Maxene took the opportunity to snap a quick shoefie. Her footwear of choice? A pair of Rockstud Ballet Ballerina flats from Valentino. A good decision assuming they did a lot of walking that day.
Yeezy taught her
On a lazy Sunday Maxene chose a more casual pair but still keeping it trendy and fashion forward. Against a patterned tile floor, she wore black Yeezy 350s, matching with fiancé Robby.
Crazy about Riri
We’re not the only ones obsessed with anything and everything Rihanna. In this photo Maxene is wearing a pair of Fenty Puma slides in white with a bow detail. Perfect for walking around the house or running errands. Also featured in this picture is Robby’s dog, Chewy.
