The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle only has about two months left before she gives birth to her baby. Before she gets busy with motherhood and other royal engagements, she flew to New York to meet with her closest girl friends and to have a baby shower.
This was confirmed by royal reporter Omid Scobie, who wrote on Harper’s Bazaar that Meghan went on a five-night trip to NYC. She was spotted at Ladurée in SoHo with her BFF, stylist Jessica Mulroney, where they had tea and macarons. Sources also said that Meghan and her friends will mostly be spending quality time at an unnamed five-star hotel.
“It’s been a relaxing visit. Nothing beats face time with your friends. Meg will be flying home refreshed and relaxed—and with a lot of new baby clothes,” a source told Harper’s Bazaar.
Given how private Meghan’s trip is, we won’t be seeing any diaper-changing relays or fancy drinks in baby bottles. But what we can expect is the fact that this baby will look stylish thanks to his/her future godparents in the US.
