Alexander Wang’s 10th year anniversary celebration has just gotten bigger. After the release of the #Wang10 capsule, a resurgence collection of the best-selling items since the brand’s inception, Alexander Wang himself threw another birthday bash, but this time by giving back to charity. They are teaming up with DoSomething.org the largest global organization supporting young people and social change through a collection of hoodies and T-shirts.
This newest collection is featured in a celebrity portrait series shot by photographer Steven Klein. The look book includes 38 big personalities in the field of fashion, music, and entertainment—all sporting the pieces in various ways and poses. There’s Cara Delevingne not wearing but biting the shirt, Kim Kardashian-West tugging the neckline, Pamela Anderson feistily popping her butt out with nothing but the tee, and Kanye West being Kanye.
“DoSomething.org is a really important charity because it really gives a lot of the youth out there the platform to explore their interests and hobbies and to get them to really think outside of the box,” says Alexander Wang in the teaser video released on Instagram.
The pieces are now available online and the proceeds from the collection will be given directly to the organization.
