Gibbs sisters go retro for ‘No Hearts’ music video

Gabs Gibbs and Chi Gibbs—also known as Gibbs, released their debut single “No Hearts” last Sept. 13, and the new music video released today.

“No Hearts” voices out bold insights on heartbreak, which can clearly be seen in their retro-themed music video, where they destroy heart cakes and tear apart white roses. It also tackles the process of moving on and redefining one’s self-worth after being played by a former lover.

It is a disco-ball filled affair with old-school microphones and telephones, leopard prints, bold lips, and sparkly eyeshadow—a fine tribute to the early ’80s disco scene and fashion.

The duo worked on the song and music video for almost a year, with ABBA and Cher as their inspiration, and the music video was directed by Simon Te.

We’re definitely looking forward to more music from these #SiblingGoals. Check out the music video. below.
