Your favorite beauty vloggers swear by these makeup products

Beauty gurus know their stuff. They’re the first ones to try all the latest makeup releases and are in on the “hot or not” trends that circulate the beauty community. I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t have gotten into makeup if it weren’t for YouTube beauty vloggers like Kathleen Lights, Nikkie Tutorials, and other beauty YouTubers who introduced me to the world of makeup and skincare.

There are times when their favorite products won’t work for you—but that’s because we all have different skin types and beauty needs. Still, the latest product reviews always come from them, and if you’re a makeup addict like I am, you’ll probably always be up to date. Here are some cult faves in the beauty community.

Koh Gen Do Cleansing Water Cloth

Kathleen Lights wipes off her makeup with the Koh Gen Do Cleansing Water cloth every night. It effectively cleanses and purifies pores—especially from those heavy foundations and makeup bases—is oil and alcohol-free, and perfect for all skin types. “I love how saturated they are,” Kathleen said in her “Empties” video, adding that she would purchase it over and over again.

Koh Gen Doh Maifanshi Aqua Foundation

In her famous “The Power of Makeup” video, where she talks about how people shouldn’t be ashamed of wearing makeup, Nikki Tutorials describes the Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua foundation as the ultimate “Photoshop but doesn’t look Photoshopped” product, and has a sheer to medium buildable coverage.

Koh Gen Do Moisture Fit Concealer

The Koh Gen Do Moisture Fit concealer is one of Michelle Wang’s all-time favorites. It has natural high coverage correction properties that correct redness and discoloration. According to Michelle, it also has a beautiful “evening effect” especially on top of the Mifanshi Aqua foundation.

Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Sheer Lucent Powder

One of the setting powders that Mel Thompsons swears by is the Koh Gen Do Sheer Lucent powder—it sets her makeup beautifully and is perfect for brightening the face. It’s a long-lasting oil and sweat control product that is serum-enriched and perfect for all skin types.

All products are available at The Rustan’s Beauty Source
