5 ways to keep your energy high when you can’t deal anymore

Adults have a lot on their plate—work, personal life, and hobbies in between—that we sometimes don’t notice we’re pushing our bodies too much. You know that feeling when it’s just the A.M., but you already feel like it’s the end of the day because of your low energy? Yeah, same.

According to Healthline, about one-third of healthy adults feel fatigued and have low energy. This is usually caused by our lifestyle choices, like what we eat and, obviously, not getting enough sleep at night. The latter is relatable for a lot of us who stay up late to finish work.

However, not addressing exhaustion can lead to negative effects. It might compromise your focus and productivity, and cause physical and mental problems in the long run. So if you want to have more energy every day, you should start making conscious decisions in bettering your well-being.

If you don’t know where to start, here are tips you can follow so you’ll be active from morning to night.

Hydrate

Drinking enough water is the most basic rule out there. Keeping yourself hydrated will help ward off sickness and nourish your skin. It’s also recommended to drink water when you wake up in the morning because it’s said to increase your alertness and rehydrate your body after sleeping for hours.

Work out

NCBI noted that having a sedentary lifestyle can be the root cause of low energy among middle-aged adults. The best course is to do some form of exercise—it can be as simple as walking or stretching in the morning, or a full-on workout at the gym. It’s also recommended to do exercise in the morning as it can wake your senses up and improve your mood throughout the day.

Lessen refined carbs

Refined carbs are grain products that have been processed. Consuming food items like this can give you an energy spike because of the amount of sugar they have, but will also cause you to crash later on. So if you’re into fast food and you noticed a slump midday, it might be time for you to slowly cut down consumption.

Get enough sleep

This is easier said than done, especially when you have a lot of work to finish, or you’re just not used to sleeping early. But giving yourself enough hours to rest will increase your energy, improve memory and concentration, prevent some diseases, and regulate your metabolism. If you’re having trouble sleeping early, you can start by lessening your social media at night, use essential oils to calm your senses, or get a weighted blanket.

Take multivitamins

You might be skeptical of multivitamins, but it actually makes it easier for you to consume the essential vitamins and minerals your body needs. Live Strong noted that taking a multivitamin can ease fatigue symptoms and bridge any nutritional gaps that may be making you feel less productive than usual. Another benefit is that you actually get more out of working out, having ample sleep, and eating nutritious meals when you complement them by drinking multivitamins.

Of course, fatigue and burnout are definitely one of the main concerns a lot of young adults experience, and one multivitamin you can try is Multivitamins + Minerals + Ginseng + Royal Jelly (Enervon Activ). On top of that, it has Royal Jelly and Panax Ginseng to help boost stamina and boost mental alertness, plus Vitamins A, E, D, and zinc to keep you active and awake all day. You will really feel the difference and be ready to take on the day.

We hope these tips help in combating your stress and fatigue while dealing with work and life in general. Also make sure you follow these tips at your own pace and not force yourself too much. Baby steps, people!
