It’s the year of many comebacks. From solo debuts and sub-units to major comebacks, K-pop fans are probably crying over all the amazing music being churned out by their favorite groups and artists. And now, everyone’s eyes are on the recent teasers JYP released for ITZY’s upcoming comeback entitled “Not So Shy.” Not gonna lie, it’s giving me major Quentin Tarantino film vibes.

But have Yeji, Lia, Chaeryeong, Ryujin and Yuna been working too hard? Following their March comeback “Wannabe,” “Not So Shy” is the group’s second comeback of the year. It’s set to premiere on Aug. 17 at 6 p.m. Prior to that, ITZY just came back from their showcase tour that happened in Asia and the U.S.

Unlike most album previews, ITZY’s recent teaser shows us three different versions of the upcoming “Not So Shy” comeback. They’ll also be adding special tattoo stickers in pre-ordered albums. Fun!

And as the hype for the upcoming album rises, #ProtectChaeryeong trends once again in response to the bullying the ITZY member has been receiving since they debuted back in February 2019. Most of the criticism Chaeryeong receives has been of her appearance. Some fans think that compared to the other members, the group’s main dancer was “ugly.”
