Blackpink’s first full album tracklist teases a Cardi B collab

Blinks, we finally got our hands on the tracklist for Blackpink’s first full album. We’ve come a long way from the inside joke of streaming the same four songs all year long during the “Square Up” era. Today, YG Entertainment revealed “The Album’s” eight-track line-up. To make it even sweeter, we’re finding out that we’re getting another heavyweight collaborator on the list: Belcalis Almanzar, who you may know better as Cardi B.

Yesterday, Blackpink trended with the drop of the concept teaser video for the song “Lovesick Girls.” While we’re still not over the jeepney memes it birthed, we’ve got another thing to obsess over: the tracklist tells us that the members also helped create the track. Jennie and Jisoo are listed as co-writers and Jennie is also getting producer credits. We’re all the more excited to finally stream the music video on Oct. 2, the same day the album is scheduled to be released.

If “Ice Cream” had the magic of Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande, “Bet You Wanna” will feature Cardi B and she’s also among its co-writers. If “Ice Cream” was cute and coy, will this one be raunchy and badass? If WAP is anything to go by, we’re in for a chart-topping banger.

Blinks can also start pre-ordering “The Album” merch which includes the group’s first vinyl record. Imagine playing Blackpink and Cardi B on your record player. It doesn’t get more 2020 than that.

To quote a Cardi B tweet, “Bardipink in your area.”
