Ford was arrested based on a warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Manila Branch 38 “for violation of Republic Act 9262,” Moriones police chief Lt. Col. Magno Gallora, Jr. told INQUIRER.net. Gallora said Ford may post an P18,000 bail.
Part of the warrant says the arrest was for “(g) Causing or attempting to cause the woman or her child to engage in any sexual activity which does not constitute rape, by force or threat of force, physical harm, or through intimidation directed against the woman or her child or her/his immediate family…”
In the earlier “Raffy Tulfo in Action” episode, Ford’s ex-girlfriend Ysah Cabrejas told Tulfo that Ford has been forcing her to have sex with him despite saying no. In a now deleted Facebook post, she addresses Ford saying: “[U]miiyak ako sa harap mo, [nagmamakaawa] ako [sa ‘yo], na tama na ayaw ko na pero [‘di] ka nakinig sabi mo ‘basta mabuntis ka kahit iwan mo ko okay na ako [d’on].’ Tanga ka ba?”
According to Lt. Col. Galora, when asked about the case, Ford claims that he didn’t know that she proceeded with the complaint since they allegedly fixed things between them already.
