There’s a rumor going around the internet that shook the “Crash Landing On You” fandom today. According to infamous dating scandal proliferator Dispatch, the show’s second couple, played by Kim Jung-hyun and Seo Ji-hye, is finally going real-to-reel like BinJin. However, the actors’ management agencies swiftly denied this.
Earlier today, Dispatch released photos of the “CLOY” actors entering an apartment building. It allegedly isn’t the first time it spotted the two on their way to having home dates given they both live 10 minutes away from each other. The report also stated that they got together after the “CLOY” finale and that Kim moved to the same district as Seo last year. Apart from this, the media outlet said the two also take out-of-town trips together. The paps are relentless.

One of Dispatch’s sources is allegedly a close mutual acquaintance who said, “They spend a lot of time alone with just the two of them. They spent their birthdays together as well.” Another source alleged, “Kim Jung-hyun had a difficult period due to some personal issues. He then met Seo Ji-hye and relied on her.” TBH, they do seem like a couple… of besties.
Seo’s agency Culture Depot strongly denied the rumor in a statement. “They are close friends,” a representative said, “Many celebrities live in the Seongdong District. Because they live close by and the COVID-19 pandemic is widespread, they decided to meet at home instead of meeting outside. Kim Jung-hyun only had a conversation with Seo Ji-hye ahead of becoming a free agent.” Our Seo Dan and Gu Seung-jun reunion dreams will stay as dreams.

That’s not the only rumor going around involving the “CLOY” actors. Interestingly enough, Koreaboo is also alleging that Kim is in talks with Cultural Depot to join the company. Their source claimed, “Kim Jung Hyun’s contact with O& Entertainment expires next month, and he has said he will not renew his contract with them. He has received love calls from many agencies, but he is currently in discussions with Culture Depot.”
Though we’re iffy to believe any of this gossip and we don’t support how some media outlets intrude on the personal lives and privacy of celebs, we wouldn’t be surprised if this has some truth to it. We’d talk to our friends if we had plans to move to the same company as them, too. Celebrities—they’re just like us.
