Pete Davidson, “Saturday Night Live” comedian and celebrity boyfriend (see: Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, etc.), has a new girlfriend and, in keeping with his wild dating history, it’s not who you’d expect.
Up-and-coming actress Phoebe Dynevor, most known for playing the social butterfly Daphne in “Bridgerton” as well as a string of other TV credits, is reportedly dating Davidson.
US Weekly reported the new coupling, stating that the couple is trying an LDR with Dynevor currently in England to film the second season of the Shondaland show. “Pete and Phoebe are still going strong despite not being able to physically spend time together,” their source said. “They keep in touch over text and FaceTime. Right now, they’re just focused on work… They’re not looking to rush things.”
Meanwhile, Page Six says that the relationship is not serious because of their acting commitments, but there’s something going on there. “Still, Pete must like her if he’s flying off to quaint little English villages to hang out with her on set,” their source said.
TBH, I’m a little heartbroken that Dynevor isn’t dating Regé-Jean Page, who played the part of her love interest Simon, the Duke of Hastings, in “Bridgerton.” Since Page is now off the show and reportedly turned down offers to make guest appearances, I’m in desperate need for any kind of Simon x Daphne content, dammit!
One has to wonder if Lady Whistledown has heard the news, too.
