Do you hear that? That’s the sound of a million hearts breaking. “Man of Steel” and “The Witcher” star Henry Cavill has gone Instagram official with his new girlfriend Natalie Viscuso.
On Apr. 12, Cavill posted a photo of them facing each other while playing a game of chess. He looks absolutely smitten and…is that curly hair we’re seeing on his head? A ton of comments mentioned that it’s a bit like a shot from “The Queen’s Gambit” since Viscuso seems pretty serious while looking at the board. Cavill wrote the sweet caption: “This is me looking quietly confident shortly before my beautiful and brilliant love Natalie, destroys me at chess.” We want that for us, too.
Viscuso posted the same photo but with a different caption: “Just teaching my dear Henry how to play some chess…or…maybe he let me win? ??♀️” Whether or not she’s the superior chess player, it’s pretty cute how they’re hyping each other up. Get you a man who doesn’t bring you down.
If the name Natalie Viscuso doesn’t ring any bells for you, it’s totally understandable. Though she isn’t technically a non-showbiz girlfriend, the relationship isn’t super high-profile since Viscuso works offscreen as a Hollywood executive. According to her LinkedIn, she’s currently the vice president of the television and digital studios at Legendary Entertainment. Elle notes that Legendary is also behind the films “Man of Steel” and “Enola Holmes” which Cavill starred in. Could this be how they met?
Interestingly, Viscuso has had her share of the limelight in a brief on-cam stint on MTV’s “My Super Sweet 16.” E! News unearthed a short clip from the episode where she said, “I deserve everything I have because I’ve always been the nice girl, never just the rich girl.”
Elle dug up the description for her episode which stated, “At 15 years old, Natalie is now living in a $5 million house and cruising around town in her dad’s Bentleys and Ferraris. What more could she want? How about being the most popular girl at school?” It would be unfair to judge her from a clip taken in 2005, but this tells us that she *might* be from old money.
Before they officially announced their relationship, they were spotted together this month while walking Cavill’s Big Bear Akita named Kal-El. Cavill adores his dog so it’s good that Viscuso is also a doting parent to her Boston Terrier named Meat.
While we’re a tiny bit sad that we’re not the ones dating the geeky hottie, we wish these lovebirds-slash-dog-parents a happy relationship ahead.
