Ballesteros is known for his incredible makeup artistry, having gone viral worldwide multiple times for his celebrity transformations where he turns himself into different stars. He was also the star of “Die Beautiful,” a film about a trans pageant queen whose last wish was to have a glamorous wake where she’s presented as a different celeb each night.
In the poster, Ballesteros wears a floral sampaguita dress with a print of Luneta Park. Very fitting for the first season of a Philippine drag competition.
He’ll be joining Jiggly Caliente, former “Drag Race” contestant and a judge of the new show.
“Ganda mo potah,” Caliente cheekily replied on the announcement.
We’re over the moon about this news. We can’t wait to see the looks that Ballesteros and Caliente will be serving, as well to find out which local drag queens will be competing. We’re def tuning in this Aug. 17 when the series airs.
