In spite of his seemingly jackasstic tendencies, Justin Bieber appears to have many friends in high places who are more than willing to help him promote a new single.Like Taylor Swift’s squad, Justin has his own team of buzz-generating A-listers.
The latest one is Derek Zoolander, Ben Stiller’s most popular role to date in the film Zoolander, and self-proclaimed “#1 male model in the world.” To help promote Justin’s new song “Purpose,” he tweaked the settings of his Instagram account to change his handle to @zoolander.

Apart from posting a selfie with Hansel, played by Owen Wilson, along with a photo of his favorite drink, an Orange Mocha Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino from Starbucks, he also showed his support for Justin by putting up a twin selfie of the two doing their best Blue Steel impression.
Justin, on other hand, helped a brother out by posting a video of Zoolander asking people to watch out for “Purpose,” which is set to drop in four days, while asking people to follow him on Instagram, too!
Thanks @zoolander. #4days #PURPOSE November 13

So far, so good. According to Allure, Zoolander’s account gained 10,000 followers in just 20 minutes with this current following at 598,000 followers.
That’s really, really, really, really ridiculous when you think about it.
