Nowadays, everyone is too busy to be bothered with a lot of products for their skincare and makeup needs. No matter how much you want to keep up with the new trends, you will still find yourself in situations where you need to reach for something that will give you instant results.
Actress and #TeamPreenPH girl Lauren Young should know. In between her projects and other endeavors, she’s the type who’s got a list of products that have yet to fail her. “These products help me feel beautiful in just a few seconds or are something I reach for when I have a bad day,” she describes more specifically. Preen caught up with Lauren during the Cream Silk Transformations event and asked to divulge that list.
#1 Kiehl’s Calendula Deep Cleansing Face Wash
“I have oily skin. This wash helps me stay matte for the day and also gets rid of the dirt that builds up because of the oil.”
#2 Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara
“Long, thick lashes make my eyes awake and help them look bigger. It’s something I don’t leave the house without.”
#3 Nude lipstick
“Depending on my mood, I either use a nude lipstick or a dark lipstick. Usually for daytime, I’ll have a nude one so it will go with any outfit or any makeup look I have on. It’s also good to always have one in your purse in case you forget to put on lipstick.”
#4 Dark lipstick
“I can’t remember exactly what the names of the shades I go for are. But I do use a dark lipstick for evening occasions. It’s an easy way to cheat looking like you’ve put on a lot of makeup even though you don’t have much on your face.”
#5 Water
“It’s something people always forget about. But drinking water is one of the best beauty tricks out there. Dehydration is also the reason behind a lot of skin problems so I really drink a lot to avoid other issues and spots on my face.”
