3 Fashion Pieces that Will Get You Through GoodVybes Music Festival

As the summer months approach and the sun keeps its steady hold over the skies, expect the music festivals to keep coming in. This Saturday, the GoodVybes Festival is set to rock the Aseana Open Grounds with headline acts Passion Pit and Chvrches.

While we know you are more than ready to hear some good music with your best friends, we ask, is your outfit ready? Like it or not, music festivals are a venue to wear something fashionable. But that doesn’t mean you just have to stick to the boho-chic aesthetic of flower crowns, flowing skirts, and muddy boots. With erratic weather and long hours of dancing along to your favorite artists, festival dressing should see you through the whole day.

Here are three pieces you can work into your music festival attire so you can be more than ready to survive a music festival while staying comfortable and looking stylish.

#1 Denim

They may be a pair of cutoffs or that cute button-up demi skirt—denim pieces will get you through any music festival. They are comfortable and easy to style as they can go with almost anything you feel like wearing on that day.

#2 Off-shoulder tops

Off-shoulder tops, like those frilly Bardot styles, will never leave the list of festival must-haves. Exposed shoulders are breezy and their loose silhouettes will let you to move freely. Just don’t forget your sunblock!

#3 Cable knit sweater

When worn over a thin shirt dress or any piece of clothing with light material, this kind of sweater is very versatile. You can wear this the whole day as it provides great ventilation and will keep you warm enough when the night breeze settles in.

The GoodVybes Festival happens on Feb. 20 at the Aseana Open Grounds where critically acclaimed acts like Passion Pit, Chvrches, Stars, and Oh Wonder will be headlining. Tickets are now up for grabs at P7,500 for VIP; P5,500 for Gold; and P2,800 for Silver at TicketWorld. Log on to TicketWorld or call 891-9999 for inquiries.

GoodVybes Festival is brought to you by Vybe Productions and TV5. Major sponsors include Digital5 Studio, Cignal, Yellow Cab, Krispy Kreme, Jamba Juice, Carefee, Modess, Clean & Clear, and Visa. Media partners are Southern and Northern Living, Inquirer.net, Preen, and Scout.
