Curious as to how the red carpet looked during the State of the Nation Address with a more somber and downplayed dress code? Still great, we think. Besides, it’s not really what they came for, right?
Most of the attendees followed the implemented dress code which cut hemlines at the knee like Heart Evangelista-Escudero, Yasmin Vargas, Taguig City Rep. Pia Cayetano, Sen. Grace Poe, Batangas Sixth District Rep. Vilma Santos, and Sen. Leila de Lima, among others. But I guess some couldn’t help but break the rules. We’re looking at you Nancy Binay and Jinkee Pacquiao—even if you made up for it by changing to simpler looks.
Kudos to President Duterte for keeping things simple for his very first SONA so we can focus on the more important things—like his actual speech and his vow of clean governance.
